What is the complete-turn wizard?

When you complete a turn, Digital Queue guides you through a step-by-step wizard. The wizard validates required information and, if your account uses it, lets you mark which services of the visit were completed. This guide is for staff who serve turns.

Only the steps that apply to that turn and to your account's configuration appear. If no step applies, the turn is completed directly.

How to open the wizard

  1. Open the turn to see its side panel.
  2. Click the "Completar turno" button.

The wizard shows its progress as "Paso X de Y" (Step X of Y). Use "Atrás" and "Siguiente" to move between steps. On the last step, the button is "Completar turno". To cancel, close the wizard with the X.

Note: the product interface appears in Spanish, so button names and messages are shown here exactly as you will see them.

The wizard steps

Step 1: Companions

Appears if the turn has companions. You will see the message "Este turno posee acompañantes" and two buttons:

  • "Completar turno": completes only that turn.
  • "Completar turno y acompañantes": completes the entire group.

To learn how to add and manage companions, see Companions: How to Add and Manage Companions on a Turn.

Step 2: Member ID

Appears if your account asks for the member ID when completing the turn and that data is missing. You will see "Completar información requerida" with the text "Ingrese el ID de afiliado para poder completar el turno."

If you try to continue without it, you will see the message "El ID de afiliado es requerido para completar el turno."

Step 3: Visit services

Appears if your account tracks completed services and at least one service is pending. You will see "Servicios de la visita" with the text "Marque los servicios que el paciente completó en esta visita antes de continuar."

  • There is one checkbox per service. Check the ones the patient completed.
  • Services that were already completed appear checked and locked, with the detail "por @usuario · Fila · Estación · fecha" (by @user · Queue · Station · date).
  • This step is optional.

Step 4: Reason

Appears if your account has more than one reason configured. You will see "Motivo de turno completado" with the text "Seleccione el motivo por la cual se completó el turno." Choose the reason and click "Completar turno".

How to set up the required member ID

The member ID is the only field the wizard can require. To set it up:

  1. Go to Ajustes → Fila Digital (Settings → Digital Queue).
  2. Turn on "Preguntar por el ID de afiliado".
  3. Select "Requerido".
  4. Under "Requerido cuando", choose "Al completar el turno".

Your account also sets up the completion reasons in Ajustes → Fila Digital.

Completed services

The option to mark completed services within a visit is not on by default. To turn it on, request it from BrainHi (your Customer Success Manager).

How to pause and resume a turn

If the patient needs to step away for a moment, you can pause their turn and pick it up again later.

  1. On the "Atendiendo" card, click "Pausar".
  2. The turn shows "En pausa · {N} min", with the minutes it has been paused, and the "Reanudar" button.
  3. When the patient returns, click "Reanudar".

If the station is busy with another turn when you resume, you will see the message "La estación está ocupada con otro turno. Complete ese turno o libere la estación para reanudar." Complete that turn or free the station and try again.

Your account turns this feature on by itself, in Ajustes → Fila Digital → "Pausar turnos".

Summary

  • Click "Completar turno" in the turn's side panel.
  • Only the steps that apply appear: Companions, Member ID, Services, and Reason.
  • Use "Atrás", "Siguiente" and, at the end, "Completar turno".
  • You can pause a turn with "Pausar" and resume it with "Reanudar".
